LightBend 16x16 Single Mode Optical Switch Matrix

The LB Series 16x16 Single Mode Optic Switch Matrix connects optical channels by redirecting incoming optical signals into any output fibers. This is achieved using a patent pending opto-mechanical configuration and activated via an electrical control signal. Latching operation preserves the selected optical path after the drive signal has been removed. This new material-based advanced design significantly reduces moving part position sensitivity, offering unprecedented high stability as well as an unmatched low cost. The switch is bidirectional.

LightBend 1xN Optical Switch

The 1xN Series optical fiber switch is based on precise groove alignment mechanism featuring low cost, compact design, simple construction, easy drive, and excellent optical performance for any wavelength between 400nm1800nm. The 1xN series optical fiber switch is compliant with the Telcordia 1209 and 1221 reliability standards. The driving circuit is embedded in the package and is connected to computer through RS232, RS485, or RJ45 interface. LightBend 2x2 Bypass Optical Switch

The Optical Bypass Switch utilizes two non-latching LB Series 2x2 OptoMechanical Fiberoptic switch connects optical channels by redirecting incoming optical signals into selected output fibers dependent on the presence of line voltage input. This is achieved using a patent pending opto-mechanical configuration and activated via an electrical control signal. The switch has integrated electrical position sensors. The new material based advanced design significantly reduces moving part position sensitivity, offering unprecedented high stability as well as unmatched low cost.
